L-   For my genius hour I want to learn about North Sentinel island, It is an island of the coast of india but there is something special about the island that i will talk about later. A- - why are the people on the island so hostile -what have we learned from them already North sentinel island is of the coast of india in the bay of Bengal this island is so speacial because It is home to one of 10 uncontaced tribes left in the world. We know nothing about them we only know that it is a groub of gatherers and hunters, They use tools like spears and bow and arrows. We call the tribe the Sentinelese but i think they are a close relative to that of the jawara tribe wich is also a tribe on the island of Andaman, It is also of the coast of India but this tribe has been contacted by the outside world which is now a huge tourist attraction where people take busses through the island to see these people. St.Dominic Savio was born in a small town in Iitaly. Hhe was one of eleven other siblings. Hhis family was very poor and needed financial support. But that didn’t worry Dominic because he knew that Ggod was with him. From a very young age Dominic was very religious and believed very much.  He would pray as much has he could, and he would try to go to communion and confirmation as much as he could. He was also very kind. Hhe would disrespect no one no matter what and was very wise ,he would blame no one, for example at is school a student there did something bad and Dominic was blamed for it he just took the punishment and didn’t say anything. He was very inspirational because a boy at the age of seven could be so religious at such a young age. Wwhen Ii was seven years I was 7 years old I was not even thinking about that and just playing in my own world.  A Race to Finish I think that is pretty crazy and awesome at the same time the fact that the have to get it done in 60 hours whitout any sleep that could really harm the body and so could the running  thats very risky because you have to train for years to get your body ready for that. http://www.active.com/running/articles/the-risks-and-benefits-of-long-distance-running  This article shows how long distance running really effects the body one big issue is inflamtion of the muscles wich last for a week and It also really affects the heart , it becomes weaker wich could really affect somebody. In my opinion I think It's not safe at all because in the story it said that only very few people finish the race and several people pass out from exaustion which is extremley danderous to the human body. ut overall I think they should really shorten the race and show the racers where to go on the course. I still think this is cool but it is very dangerous.

                           Busy Signal I don't personally use social media all the time or need my device on me at all times I think It's not nessecary at all I know It's a huge distraction and takes away from the learning But I know people say oh we can use it for learning puposes but majority just go on to social media or text with freinds so I think schools sould ban devices coming in and just get cromebooks or laptops that they keep at school and block social media apps on the laptops to make sure students tay on task. This is a huge epidemic around the world if these have to go through a detox that a drug addict woud have to go through. It's not healthy either studies show that being on a phone has the same effects on your body as taking drugs because It alters the chemicals in the persons body the same way drugs do wich affects there mood and attidude. For another genius hour project I decided to do research on Chernobyl because it just seems interesting             Where/When was Chernobyl Reactor 4 of Chernobyl exploded on April 26th, 1986 it happened in northern Ukraine just near the border of Belarus. How did reactor 4 explode That night on April 26th there supposed to run a safety test for reactor 4 but the reactor should have been at least been running over 700 plus megawatts to run the the safety test then then the number of megawatts drops to 0 they have to shut down the reactor, but the commander in the control insisted the kept working because they have to do the control test so his plan was to retract the control rods(which help control the reactor if some thing goes wrong thee bring the power down)which brung up the power level back up to 200 which still was not the required 700 megawatts but they still went ahead with the safety test. also the water level(used for cooling the reactor)...

To keep myself mentally healthy look after my body by watching what I eat and trying to get out and exercise this means a lot because me personally If I sit for to long I start to fidget and get really hyper Its not a good feeling at all. So It means a lot to me when I go outside and enjoy life and what I'm doing and after I just feel really happy and I get a huge sense of relief because I have just out all that energy and I just don't have to fidget anymore and I could just calm down and relax, and just remember live life to the fullest and don't let anybody bring you down.

                                Canada 150 L- For Canada's monument I wanted to talk about about sports because in Canada we have so many sports that Canadians are so passionate about including hockey, basketball and soccer just to name a few. I chose to do sports because I am extremely passionate about them and I wanted to do more research on the sports in Canada. Have you ever been stuck on problem or something you have been working at something for forever, for ex. my super cringey video where I was working on clearing a set of dirt jumps on my mountain bike that took forever and my reaction was cringe but I still felt awesome.Now lets actually start talking about this. It starts where you have been introduced this challenge  and we're all like we got this, this is totally going to be easy and it turns out to be the hardest problem /challenge you have ever faced. It starts to feel like there is a storm brewing in your head and your brain cells are sizzling with heat, they fell like there about to explode and you start raging an throwing things like a mad man. I chose to do photography/cinematography because I love mountain biking and nature so I really want to capture the essence of the sport and that is why I chose to learn about photography/cinematography. Lately I have been taking videos and photos with my i pad and my Gopro I am still editing them and will show you guys soon.For Christmas I am going to ask for a Gopro stabilizer called the z1 rider m and that will help me to take smoother videos and pictures.on the weekend I am going to go ride some local trains and film myself and make a raw edit to show the class.                        What's your sentence My sentence was he was the one to make his dreams possible this means a lot to me because when i am older I really want to mountain biker and no body's gonna stop me i'm gonna follow me dreams and never give up on my dreams no matter what if somebody tells me that its not possible or something to put me down I wont listen to them I will make them come true no matter what and I hope it will be the same for anyone else because its never to late, so never give up on your dreams and try your hardest to make them come true.

                                       My summer vacation trip This summer i went to Blue Mountain twice to go downhill mountain biking. It is about a two hour drive to get there but it is totally worth it, It is located in Collingwood. Whenever I go there i have a blast it so much fun. To get to the top you have to take the gondola up and near the top you get a breathtaking view of Wasaga beach, the beautiful blue water is just amazing as it glistens across the sky and when you get to the top you have to bike a little bit to get to some of the trails but it is totally worth it because as you you ride down its the best feeling ever the wind blowing in your face, the sick air you get of rock drops and the suspension soaking up every little bump which makes you feel like your your landing in the fluffiest of clouds and just sinking through all the way down.
