Genius Hour North Sentinel island
L- For my genius hour I want to learn about North Sentinel island, It is an island of the coast of india but there is something special about the island that i will talk about later.

North sentinel island is of the coast of india in the bay of Bengal this island is so speacial because It is home to one of 10 uncontaced tribes left in the world. We know nothing about them we only know that it is a groub of gatherers and hunters, They use tools like spears and bow and arrows. We call the tribe the Sentinelese but i think they are a close relative to that of the jawara tribe wich is also a tribe on the island of Andaman, It is also of the coast of India but this tribe has been contacted by the outside world which is now a huge tourist attraction where people take busses through the island to see these people. They call it the "Human Safari" (vice documenertary) wich I think is horrible. Its not only that the tourists staying at the resorts they leave garbage and the resorts don't now what to do with is so they mad a dump on the island wich affects the tribe but not only that we come to the island with all this bacteria that the tribe has never been exposed to before could easily kil them because there immune systems have not wet developed Its almost like these poeple are stuck in time.
Encounters
The two most known encounters This first one happened in 2006 two men were illegelly crab fishing and they set there anchor so they can could sleep but the anchor became loose and they drifted off to close to the island and they were killed right away.(Another video) The second encounter happened when The indian government sent ina helicopter to take pictures but they only got a few picture before they had hailstorm of spears flying at them but lickily they mad it out alive after reatreating. After these encounters the Indian goverment as added a law wich says no one is allowed to go 10 miles near the island And if you do get to close you will be arrested.
History/information
If we were able to study we would learn so much about us humans from several years ago. If we learned about these people we could find out more on evolution because they could still be evolving. Just imagine the things we could learn about them we could find about an acient language or find about the tools we used there so much to learn but if only this tribe wasn't so hostile.
